FFXRunner Remastered
A dark van idles behind you at the red light. You don’t know who they are. The light turns green — run for the level crossing.
What’s new
Same run. Remastered everything.
NewChapter 2: The Drop
A new open city. Collect a package at the docks and follow VIC’s texts out of town while the trap closes: parked cruisers light up, then the whole force comes after you.
NewA city that drives
Traffic follows a real street map: lanes, corners taken at a sane speed, giving way. Cars have weight now: hit one and it gets knocked aside.
NewHandling with bite
Understeer when you push, spin-outs when you overdo it, clutch dumps, chirping shifts and grip that changes on cobbles, dirt and grass.

Pursuers that PIT
The van and the Jeep ram, PIT and honk when they close in. Pick Easy, Normal or Hard. The original’s ambush spots are back.

Nitro, refilled
Hold N for a blue-flame boost. Violet nitro tokens along the course fill the tank back up.

Minimap and mirror
A heading-up minimap shows the course, pickups and who is chasing you; the rear-view mirror shows how close they are.

Damage you can see
Every hit dents the body and scrapes the paint down to metal. Find the repair tokens before the bodywork gives out.

Global leaderboard
Your fastest escape is posted to the worldwide board. One run, one tank, one van behind you.

About the remaster
FFX Runner (also released as Alias Runner and, on Miniclip, On The Run) is a 2001 Shockwave 3D driving game by the Italian studio Officine Pixel. When Shockwave died, the studio released its source so the game could outlive the plugin. FFX Runner Remastered is an unofficial fan remaster built on that release: the city, the pickups, the nine ambush points and the level crossing come from the original files; the car, physics, sound, interface and leaderboard are new.
Is it free?
Yes — it runs in any modern browser with WebGL 2, desktop or phone. No download, no account.
Do I need Shockwave?
No. Everything was rebuilt on three.js and Rapier; nothing from the dead plugin is used.
What stayed from 2001?
Chapter 1’s city, story, red-light start, pickups, the Jeep’s ambush spots and the finish are the original’s, recovered from the Lingo scripts and the game’s data. Chapter 2 is new.
How do I unlock Chapter 2?
Reach the level crossing once in Chapter 1. The title screen then offers Chapter 2.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. Phones and tablets get on-screen steering, pedals, nitro and drift buttons; landscape gives the widest view. A gamepad works too.
Original game: Danilo Stefani & Lamberto Tedaldi (code), Davide Romboli, Andrea Laghi & Lamberto Tedaldi (3D), Maurizio Monti & Andrea Laghi (art), Lamberto Tedaldi (level & sound). The original assets remain the property of their authors.
